Dr. Touraj Khalilzadeh - Oral SurgeonDr. Touraj Khalilzadeh completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Irvine, California, and obtained his dental degree from the Ivy League institution, The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in 2006.  T.J. attended the University of Maryland where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and lectured in Clinical Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery  on  ”Principals of Physical Diagnosis” at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Maryland, department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  T.J. also served as the Professor’s Assistant in General Restorative Dentistry at the school of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania from 2004-2005.

Dr. Khalilzadeh has a strong commitment to leadership and academics in oral and maxillofacial surgery.  He has served as a District II Representative and Program Liaison for the Resident Organization of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland.   He earned a Certificate of Recognition from the American Academy of Orofacial Pain at the University of Pennsylvania.   Dr. Khalilzadeh is a member of AAOMS, CALAOMS, American Medical Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, California Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and will be a new member of the Monterey Bay Dental Society.
